Please read these terms carefully before using The Roster.

Last updated: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Roster (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. [PLACEHOLDER LEGAL TEXT — to be reviewed and finalized by counsel.]

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent or trainer account. Athletes under 18 may use the Service only through a parent or legal guardian's account, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable child-protection laws including COPPA.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.

4. Bookings and Payments

The Roster facilitates bookings between parents and independent trainers. Payment is processed at the time of booking. Our cancellation policy is: full refund 48 or more hours before the session, 50% refund 24 to 48 hours before, no refund within 24 hours. Platform service fees are non-refundable.

5. Trainer Verification

All trainers undergo background checks and identity verification as described on our Safety page. The Roster does not employ trainers; trainers are independent contractors responsible for the conduct of their own sessions.

6. Code of Conduct

All users agree to follow the Trainer Code of Conduct and our community standards. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

7. Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience following a completed session. Reviews cannot be edited after submission and cannot be removed by trainers. The Roster reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our content policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Service are owned by The Roster or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Roster does not guarantee the outcome of any training session.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Roster is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. [PLACEHOLDER — final liability cap to be set by counsel.]

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in [Jurisdiction], in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. [PLACEHOLDER]

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and through an in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect.
